Pores look larger for three main reasons: they are stretched by oil and congestion, the skin around them loses collagen and firmness with age, and the surface becomes uneven with sun damage or past acne. Genetics and skin type set the baseline — oily skin naturally has more visible pores.
Heat and humidity increase oil production, and long sun exposure weakens the collagen that keeps pores tight, so both are common in Dubai. Treatment combines clearing the pores, renewing the surface and rebuilding the collagen around them.
