What aredermal fillers?
With time the jawline loses its edge: bone and fat recede, the skin descends and the line from ear to chin blurs. Dense fillers placed along the jaw angle and the chin rebuild that edge and give the lower face a clear frame.
The plan depends on why the contour has gone. If the problem is structure, filler helps; if it is mainly fat under the chin or loose skin, the doctor may suggest fat-dissolving injections or a lifting device first, or alongside. A small chin is often the real reason a jawline looks weak, so we assess the profile, not only the front.

Consultation and plan
The doctor assesses the face from the front and in profile, explains what filler will and will not change, and agrees the product and the amount.

The injection
Numbing cream, then cannula or needle along the jaw angle and the chin. Forty to sixty minutes with mirror checks.

Settling and review
Swelling and tenderness when chewing for two to three days. No sport or sauna for a week; review at four weeks, with a second stage if planned.

More than lips or cheeks — often two syringes or more for a visible change. The doctor confirms the amount at the consultation and may split it into two visits.
Around twelve to eighteen months for dense hyaluronic acid fillers in this area; Radiesse lasts for a similar period while it stimulates collagen.
Not when it is planned for your features. For women we keep the angle soft and focus on the chin and the line, not the width.
From AED 1,300 per syringe (Saypha Volume). Radiesse 1.5 ml is AED 2,200.
Then filler alone will not give a clean line. Fat-dissolving injections or a lifting device usually come first, and filler defines the edge after.
