What isLumecca Peak IPL?
Lumecca Peak by InMode is an intense pulsed light (IPL) platform used to improve the appearance of selected pigmented and superficial vascular concerns, including sun spots, age spots, freckles, uneven tone, visible redness and small superficial vessels. IPL uses filtered broad-spectrum light; it is different from a laser, which delivers light at a specific wavelength.
Lumecca Peak is designed to deliver high optical power and short pulses, with a sapphire contact-cooling tip to support treatment comfort. The right filter and settings depend on the concern, skin tone and clinical assessment.

Pigmentation treatment
Lumecca Peak may be used for selected superficial pigmentation, including sun spots, age spots and freckles. Light energy is absorbed by pigment, and treated spots may temporarily darken before gradually flaking away as the skin renews. The number of sessions depends on the type, depth and extent of pigmentation and the skin’s response.
Not every pigmentation concern is suitable for IPL. Melasma needs particular care because it can recur and some light-based treatments may aggravate it. The clinician will assess the type of pigmentation before recommending a protocol.
Redness & superficial vessels
IPL can be considered for selected superficial vascular concerns, including visible small vessels and diffuse redness. The light is absorbed by blood-related chromophores, helping reduce the appearance of targeted redness and vessels over time. Suitability depends on the location and type of the concern, skin tone and clinical assessment.
Hollywood Skin protocol
Hollywood Skin is a combined skin-rejuvenation protocol at THE FAME that pairs Lumecca IPL with Dermablate cold resurfacing. Lumecca targets selected pigmentation and visible vessels, while Dermablate focuses on skin texture, pores and the appearance of fine lines. Together, the protocol is designed to address uneven tone and texture as part of one planned treatment approach.
For some pigmentation concerns, Alma-Q may be considered instead of Lumecca, depending on the type and depth of pigment and the clinician’s assessment. These technologies are not interchangeable in every case; the appropriate option is chosen after consultation.
Results fromthe clinic.
Results depend on the concern, skin tone, settings and number of sessions. Pigmented spots may temporarily darken before flaking away; redness and superficial vessels improve gradually. Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Lumecca Peak IPLHow it works.
Lumecca Peak delivers filtered broad-spectrum light pulses through a xenon flash lamp. The selected filter and settings direct energy towards pigment or superficial vascular targets. A sapphire contact-cooling tip supports comfort during treatment.
The clinician selects the parameters after assessing the skin concern, skin tone, recent sun exposure and medical history.

Where we use it.
Chosen for.
Asked beforebooking.
It depends on the concern, its extent, skin tone and response. Some concerns may improve after one session, while others require a course.
No. It is IPL, which uses filtered broad-spectrum light.
Sensations vary. You may feel brief warmth or a snapping sensation; the handpiece includes contact cooling.
A clinician may choose Lumecca or Alma-Q for certain pigmentation concerns depending on the pigment type and depth. The devices may be part of a broader treatment plan when clinically appropriate, but they are not interchangeable for every indication.
It is THE FAME’s combined protocol using Lumecca IPL and Dermablate cold resurfacing. It is designed to address selected pigmentation and visible vessels alongside texture, pores and fine lines.
Follow the clinic’s aftercare, avoid direct sun exposure and use broad-spectrum SPF. Do not pick or scrub treated areas.
From AED 550 for the nose. Larger zones, up to face, neck and décolleté together, and the Hollywood Skin protocol are in the price list on this page.

“In Dubai the main enemy of an IPL result is the sun before and after the session. I schedule Lumecca when a patient can commit to two weeks without direct exposure — that discipline is worth more than any extra session.”
