What isRigenera Activa?
Rigenera Activa is a minimally invasive hair-loss treatment based on Autologous Micrografting Technology (AMT). A small sample of healthy tissue is collected from the patient, mechanically processed with the Rigenera system and prepared as a micrograft suspension for injection into areas affected by thinning. It uses the patient’s own tissue; cells are not grown in a laboratory.
It is most commonly considered for androgenetic alopecia and early to moderate hair thinning in women and men, after a medical assessment. The treatment supports existing follicles; it does not create new follicles where they have been permanently lost.

Androgenetic hair loss
Rigenera Activa may be considered for male and female pattern hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia. This condition is associated with gradual follicle miniaturisation and changes in hair density over time.
The treatment uses autologous micrografts to support the environment around existing follicles. It is generally considered earlier in the course of hair thinning, while follicles are still present. A medical assessment helps determine whether this approach suits your pattern of hair loss.
Hair thinning & reduced density
If your hair is gradually becoming finer or your parting is widening, Rigenera Activa may be considered as part of a plan to address early hair thinning. A micrograft suspension prepared from your own tissue is delivered into selected areas of the scalp.
The aim is to support the follicular environment and encourage improvements in hair density and quality over time. The response depends on the cause of hair loss and the condition of the follicles.
Hair quality & scalp support
Rigenera Activa is designed to support the biological environment around existing hair follicles. For suitable candidates, the aim is to improve the appearance of thinning hair and support healthier-looking growth over time.
It does not create new follicles in areas where they have been permanently lost, so the type and stage of hair loss are identified before a plan is chosen. For selected patients, it may also be considered alongside PRP or a hair transplant plan.

A small tissue sample is taken from a suitable donor area of the scalp. The Rigenera device mechanically disaggregates the tissue to prepare a suspension containing tissue-derived regenerative components, including progenitor cells and extracellular matrix components.
The suspension is injected into selected thinning areas during the same appointment. It is intended to support the local environment around existing hair follicles; changes in density and hair quality develop gradually over the following months.
