Laxity is a change in the support of the skin. Collagen and elastin fibres in the dermis thin out with age, and the fibrous layer beneath — the SMAS — stretches. The skin itself still looks smooth, but it drapes lower: the jawline blurs, the neck softens, the cheeks sit heavier.
Sun exposure speeds this up, and in Dubai it is constant. Weight changes, hormonal shifts and genetics play their part as well. Because laxity sits in different layers for different people, the right tightening tool depends on where the support has been lost.

Depth comes first. Ultraformer MPT reaches the SMAS and lifts the contour; Volnewmer heats the deeper dermis evenly; Morpheus8 and Secret RF remodel the dermis through microneedles and also improve texture. Endolift works under the skin with a fine laser fibre where the tissue needs more contraction.
Downtime and season come next. Ultrasound and monopolar RF have no recovery and suit people who cannot step away from work. Microneedling RF and laser resurfacing need a few quiet days and are easier in the cooler months.
Where the face has also lost volume, energy alone will not replace it — collagen stimulators or carefully placed fillers restore support, and tightening works better on top of them.

One session of ultrasound or monopolar RF, or a course of microneedling RF, often combined with collagen work. Order and spacing are planned in advance.

They work at different depths. Ultrasound lifts the deep supporting layer; radiofrequency tightens and thickens the skin. Many plans combine them, a few weeks apart.
Some tightening can be felt early, but the visible change comes as new collagen forms — usually from week four, fuller at around three months.
Ultraformer MPT and Volnewmer have none. Morpheus8, Secret RF and laser resurfacing usually mean a few days of redness.
