Permanent makeup is a tattoo placed shallower and with cosmetic pigments. Over the years it can shift colour — towards grey, blue, red or orange — or simply no longer suit the face. The Alma-Q Q-switched laser breaks the pigment into fragments the body clears between sessions.
Cosmetic pigments behave differently from body tattoo ink. Some light, red or flesh-toned pigments can darken under a Q-switched laser, so the doctor always starts with a test on a small spot and adjusts the plan to how the pigment reacts.

How many sessions you need depends on the pigment, its depth and the result you want. Lightening before a new procedure usually takes fewer sessions than full removal, and the test at the first visit shows how quickly the pigment is likely to respond.

Yes. Microblading is pigment in the skin like any permanent makeup, and the Alma-Q laser can lighten or remove it over several sessions.
Q-switched lasers target pigment, and brow hair is generally preserved. The doctor will discuss this at the consultation.
Some light, red or flesh-toned cosmetic pigments can darken under the laser. That is why the doctor tests a small spot first.
It depends on the pigment and your goal. Lightening before new permanent makeup usually needs fewer sessions than complete removal.
Once the skin has fully healed after the final session. The doctor will tell you when it is safe to book.
